Estimates, deposits and cancellation
DRAFT — the deposit and cancellation terms below are the shop's own agreement with its customers. The shop sets them, not the operator of this system, and they are published here as a draft until the shop has approved them. Not legal advice.
- An estimate is issued as a numbered version. If the work changes after the piece is opened, a new version is issued; every earlier version stays on record.
- Where a deposit is asked for, the estimate states the percentage and the amount. The deposit holds your place in the schedule. It is paid to the shop directly, by whatever means the shop accepts; this system does not take payments.
- Cancellation and refund of a deposit: to be stated by the shop.
- The balance is due: to be stated by the shop.
- Sales tax, if any, is stated by the shop separately.
